Alright all of you anti-Americans. It’s time for an update. It looks like Shaun White could have been a team all to himself! America is kicking some ass right now, but remember, there are still a lot of medals left to win. So don’t get yourselves down, just keep cheering on your teams! Now, on to the scores…

Fantasy Olympics creates a conflict between patriotic loyalty to Team USA and rotting for my USA-excluded Fantasy Team.
But now my alma mater, Clemson University, has given me another conflict. I found out that Figure Skater Evan Lysacek, who stands 2nd after the short program, is a cousin to Cole Chason, a former Clemson Punter.
So should I root for Evan because he’s related to a former Clemson Tiger Football alum? Or should I root against Evan because Cole Chason was a horrible punter? Ah, the conflict!

TEAM RUSSIA’S THEME SONG:
Swedish teammate Yngwie Malmsteen’s “Evil Eye.”
OK guys, I couldn’t resist. GO TEAM USA!
(Miley Cyrus Party in the USA + BIG Party and Bullshit= Party and Bullshit in the USA!)

Theme Songs
In my opinion every team should choose a theme song originating from one of the countries on their team. For my team I chose Ecossaise in G by Ludwig Van Beethoven, one of Germany’s all-time best selling artist.
Here are some suggestions for the other teams:
Ra& Elijah:
In The Shadows - The Rasmus (Finland)
Be My Yoko Ono - Barenaked Ladies (Canada)
Stacey:
Truly Madly Deeply - Savage Garden (Australia)
Por Una Cabeza - Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera (Argentina)
Lee:
Fernando - ABBA (Sweden)
Mouse Loves Rice - Xiang Xiang (China)
Alright, Here’s a simple score update now that Lee and I are back from $3 32oz beer night at the mexican restaurant where we had them change the TV to watch men’s figure skating. (Russia was doing quite well for once)
USA- 37
Germany- 36
Canada- 31
Russia- 29
It’s starting out as a pretty close game!
